Moving capital and researches

In my game as the duchy of brandeburg i've managed to become the king of Lituania. At this moment my capital moves from Brandenburg to Zhmud.
As i look at the advances window is see that many of the advances were "lost"( though in Brandenburg they are still known) and i have to research many of the again at my new home! :eek:
Shouldn't the royal court take the advances to the new capital when they move?
Is this WAD or a little bug?

It's definedly WAD.

You haven't lost any tech as tech is province-based and also matters in the province where it is, you can only build buildings in the province that has the advance and only troops from that province get the bonuses of tech. So you can still build the same things in your old capital as you did before and the troops of that province fights just as well as before. The only difference is new tech is discovered in your new capital and start spreading from there now, but remember that the tech gained in your old capital can still spread throughout your realm as before. You can even get tech from your old capital to your new capital via spread.

Here comes another stupid question from Klöz: what is WAD? And what is BB?
I know I should know this as I'm a big fan of the Europa Univeralis series but I don't know :(
No problem! ;)
WAD = Working as designed
BB = Bad boy -> this your bad reputation in the world! Gaining it in ck through claiming titles, assasination, war(in some cases) etc.
