Memel - Spetember 16th 1936 06:00 hours
Outside of the main forts in Memel laods of artillery started to drop.
"Men! Arm your stations! Move Move Move!" screamed the officer in the HQ
A loud speaker blared through the noise of the air alarm
"TO your stations! Man the bunkers! All soldiers are to report to their respective leaders and wait for orders. Soldiers on border duty are to man the bunkers immediatley. We must resist until reninforcements arrive!"
The 12 divisions under Smigly Rydz rolled accross the border. Pouring out from a quiet Lithuania, a bhememoth of an army moved to crush the German defenders of the port city and capture the fleet stationed there. Field Marshall Rydz commanded 2 Specialized Cavalry groups. 8 Infantry groups Marching from Warzszawa and 2 tank Battalions. Memel was defended by a groupd of 2 rag tag infantry divisions. The first objective of the army was to break through the Northern barricade and storm the ports. This was an immediate success. After securing the ports and surrounding areas the army left to crush the left over defenders, and although they didnt inflict heavy casualties on the force they fought stifly until the 22nd, after which the remaing 1 division retreated, badly organized and in complete shambles. 6 Ships of Germanys Navy stationed in the port escaped, the remaing 4 were captured. A stunning success. Polish flags were hoisted over the cruisers and they were sent in pursuit of the retreating ships. THe remainging 6 ships were met with a firefight in the Bay of Danzig by the actual Polish Navy, consisting of A Cruiser, Battleship, 2 subs and mostly transports. SUpply lines were cut off to Koingsberg and the German divisions instead of being engaged were left to die of lack of supplies. No more casualties could be spared. THe situation in the south was sever. Two provinces were lost to the wrethed devils of Slovakia and Hungary. Retribution owuld be swift. And hopeflly deal a hammerblow to Germanies Southern Line.

Rostock October 1939 - First Naval Landing in Times or War -
A darring expidition was planned by a fresh recruit in the Polish Armed forces. A risky idea but one well worth the effort. It was by a relativley young General, he had jsut been put in command of newly trained Marine divisions. 8 of them. They boarded the ships in Gdansk. At this time the Armies defending Ebling had been so demoralized when Smigly was finally given premission to "releave" them of their duty to defend the Reichs last possesion in East Prussia that most of them surrendered right away. So, the plan to launch a Beachead into Rostock was permitted. A risky trip, for if the German Kriegsmarine showed up the transports would be decimated. THe whole fleet was not sent on this expidtion. Just 8 transports and the ORP Pilsudski Battleship, the fleet went under command of the expert Grand Admiral Czernicki. Luckily for them the Whole of the German navy had been pulled out of the ports and into the English channel to battle the British Navy. The 8 marine divisions moved into Rostock in the early hours of October 21. It was cold but well worth it. THe city was found utterly undefended. Rite away the fleet was called up from Memel and Danzig (Consisting of the 2 subs, cruiser and captured 4 ships from Germany) was sent to maintain supply lines, and the Czernicki fleet was moved back to danzig to pick up 8 Infantry divisions under General Grzmot-Skotnicki. They were delivered on the 30th. Poland was now in a prime position to attack Germany's only visible soft point: Berlin. The whole of the Wemacht had been left in Stettin and Landsberg, while the rest of it was over stretched along the newly formed Polish southern border. Over the last month the Polish drive into Slovakia/Hungary had been a complete success although most of Polands force had been overstretched so had the Wermacht, with the highest concentrations of both millitaries along the borders of Stettin/Danzig, and Landsberg/Bygodszyc/Poznan.
The capitol was left totally unattended. Gen. Grzmot took the opportunity right away. He didnt consult Sikorski(Cheif of Armed Forces) and decided totake this opportunity he was awarded a medal for , as Sikorski put it, "A purely idiotic move, absolutley ludacris, which acheived, although very unconventional, a stunning victory". But the genious of the general would prove later. On November 10th at 17:00 hours, 15 divisions under FieldMarshall List smashed into the occupied Berlin. Jsut days before that though a sure victory was already assured as Gen. Rommel Moved DOK V into Dresden cutting off supply to the bulk of German Armed Forces. Nearly all their tank and motorized brigades. The 15 German divisions that smashed into Berlin were poorly organized , adn although the Fieldmarshall initially made gains into Berlin he was drivven back. Gen.Grzmot had acheived a great victory. He lost only 1 army group, reducing his command numbers to 7. But had inflicted a great number of casualties to Lists' Forces. He had reduced Lists command to 5 badly organized groups who prompetly retreated. Gen Grzmot became a Fieldmarshall after that and wonthe utmost respect form his soldiers, and from his German POW's. Even though he had been their captor, they held him in high respect.
The remaining 5 divisions retreated into Landsberg to hook up with the 5 left there. Shortly after that 15 divisions consisting of 4 Mot. 5 Arm. and the rest Inf./w Attached Art. divisions smashed into Landsberg, the poorly organized troops were decimated and left fleeing into Stettin. This army pursued them as FieldAMrshall Smiglys smashed into Stettin hourslater, the German forces there were eliminated, and the retreating forces from Landsberg were takken captive as soon as they entered the province. THe whole front ahd shifted and the German Wermacht was in a panic. All her armed forces reduced and 60% of her coast takken from her. Meanwhile the British navy sent the Kriegsmarine into the ports of Kiel, Wilhemsshaffen and Hamburg. Even though suffering this major defeat the German and Polish Millitaries were stil squarely matched. As Poland was mainly an Infantry army, with around 15-20 tanks divisions and 15 Mot. Germany also still had a very evident control of airspace. Something Poland bothered not to acheive seeing victory only in landwarfare.(also cause in HOI i find that an airforce does nothing for except if I build enough make me have the biggest airforce in the world.. which is useless)
The front was now moved. Polish forces had now occupied Rostock, Berlin, Dresden, Landsberg, Stettin, Oppeln and Breslau. The French border was very undefended. And tanks were rolling through Yugoslavia-Italy-Switzerland to France, Polish tanks. To start motivating France to move, her border being lightly guarded Poland expected her to make ready an assault...

November 1939 - THe Danish Campaign -
A relatively short campaign but one well worth mentioning.
Sikorski stroled into the office.
"Morning sir. I would like permission to launch an attack into Axis Denmark"
THe president looked up
"Why? IS there a purpose for this expidition."
"Yes sir, Copenhagan is of strategic importance, the Danish Navy has a blockade on all goods coming from Poland to our Allies, and our Allies to us. We can't break through any ships, and I have arranged with General Hull of the British Army to launch a joint offensive into the area. THat is, permitting you let me."
"Explain to me first the plan."
"Well, our ground forces would move into Lubeck, and Kiel while the British would land in Aarhus(i spelt that wrong), we would then move into Denmark, and annex the Nazi supporters."
"Alright General, move along as planned, I have other matters to attend too."
Sikorski left the office. He arrived at Millitary headquarters later that day and laid forth the plans. Information was relayed to General Hull to begin the offensive. Polish Troops entered Lubeck and Kiel and the British landed in Aarhus. 4 Marine divisions were dipatched from Rostock into the danish heartland and the country was annexed. The fastest offensive of the war.

This period was known as the "False War" , no offensives were launched into territory held by the Germans, as the Polish Armed forces were recooperating. This time was spent sharring my land doctorines with France to prepare for our planned offensive into the German heartland in Summer. Winter is a bad time time to move. Troops were reinforced the line over, and more were queued up. THe where was one counter offensive by German forces into Oppeln, but it failed miserably for them. In retribution for these attacks List and Reichenburg were bomed by 12 Polish bomber divisions. Who, were intercepted halfway there and decimated.
July 1940 - The Next Chapter, the Battle Rages on. To victory or Defeat? I Finally caught up with my AAR. So now the next stuff I do, will be...in the action. So I ahve no clue whats to come? And neither should you lest you hack my pc. But dont do that. Or else.

"Brave citizens! We the government of Poland want to thank you in your resolute stance to back us one hundered percent! You are willingly still fighting for us, and pushing the evil that has risen in Germany back further and further into hell. On the front there have been little casualties, and plans are being made to hopefull finally put Nazi Germany into her place..."
"Willingly? Hah whats this guy talking about? Hundreds of men die each day. This is like the Great War, all over again. Its madness out here. I can't believe they're playing this crap on the radio." Said the outraged Pvt, to his comrade.
"Don't mind it, if we dont have support at home, we can't win this. We need new recruits, wether you tihnk propaganda is wrong or right, we need it. We're doing what we can, and the governments doing what they can to help us."
"Help us? Hah, more like replace us when we die. Thats no help if you ask me."
The two soldiers went on, and further up the camp a meeting was held.
Sikorski sat at the front of the table. A man walked in escorted by two Sergeants.
"Bonjour!Zat iz, I mean hello."
"Have a seat sir." Sikorski motioned for the man to sit.
"Merci"
"I suppose its high time to discuss everything that is too hapen in the next phase of battle?"
"Precisley, if all goes to plan, ze Germans von't move zere divizions from your front. Fearing an offensive, and ve can move and eliminate forces in ze Northern part."
"Have the tank regiments arrived yet?"
"Yes we have recieved them with great joy, they are still under your fll command as you specifeid."
"Good then, heres the propsed plan. Those tank regiments along with your infantry , under your Field Marshall Juin shall march for the lightly defended Freiburg, when the battle is done the tanks will move forward and take Stuugrat and Mannheim. If need be they'll have to leave before the battle finishes so as to prevent any divisions headed from Frankfurt and Erfurt to join the defenders."
"Precisley. we shall hold our ground from zere, and move up divisionz from the centre of France and make ready phase 3. I assume by zen phase 2 shall be enacted already?"
"Hopefully, if all goes to plan."
THe two men conversed some more and decided to split Germany up into two halves. Everything from Wurzburg and Karlsbad south and east (Former Czech and Austria plus 3 German provinces) would be ceded to Poland (all the steel porvinces). And the northern and western to France(all the coal Provinces).
SO the battle moved forward. In early June Frieburg fell very fast under Juins great command. Stuugart and Mannheim as well. Phase two was now to be enacted. Phase two consisted of 2 moves. Move 1: TO attack Karlsbad and Wurzburg to cut off supply. Move 2: to move onto a big German force in Troppau.
In mid June Karlsbad was attacked and 4 divisions marched for Wurzburg Wurzburg fell but Karlsbad was in need of reinforcements. 1 divsions was left to Garrison Wurzburg and the rest moved to Karlsbad. THe Supply lines cut 30 Polish divisions smashed 30 German ones. Then the worst thing that could happen hapened. Wurzburg was takken by 4 German divisions the 1 division was still recuperating when attacked and although the brave dfeneders tried to stop the attack they were anhialated. Supplies were now moving into Troppau and so were reinforcements. Poland could only spare 12 more to this move and still have the front protected. SMigly-Rydz marched his men into the Polish part of the city and took over command. It was a bloody battle lasting 7 days. In the end it was a victory, a major defeat for the Germans, and for the Polish, the city could be retakken at any time. With low orginization, mostly due to the fact that many divisions were smashed by the German FieldMarshalls excellent defence and were left scattered and poorly manned in and around the city. This was a victory but it came at the cost of losing phase 3 of the Offensive. Half of the troops in Karlsbad were sent to Dresden, and those to Breaslau, and the Breslau garrison moved to Troppau to cover the reorganizing armies already there, and to scourge the reckage for survivors and KIA's. The losses were great and numerous and the offensive on the Polish side was held off for a while.
On the French side tohugh, things were moving smoothly. Frecnh armies had grabbed Erfurt, Frankfurt am Main, Essen(?), Kol and Staarsbucken. Mainly due ot lack of resistance from Germany as they still moved more divisions into their eastern border. Leaving their pseaudo capitol of Essen unprotected. For now the war would have to once again come to a grinding halt. THe war machines would need to refuel and regnerate.
