What is the smallest and weakest country you can take and achieve a WC with?
By WC I mean annexation of at least
-Germany
-USSR
-UK
-Japan
-USA
I believe that once these five are snuffed, the rest of the world is a cakewalk.

So, leaders of men and panzers, who among you has the power to take a minor and squeeze hard the testicles of the world? ^_^

Hmm, I might take on the challenge - Yugoslavia, Nat. China or Finland is a good choice IMO.

Comm. China - at least in Hoi2 could do it (With AoD, did united China and won over Japan by 1939.. from then on, it should be possible)

What will be the settings?

Normal/Normal (can choose Hard for a tie breaker), no Tech Team or IC takeover, 1936 start.

Com China is an interesting case: it starts as a 3 province minor, but(!) it has a strong army and a sh!t pot of cores.

I assume no mods allowed, right? (China is, even in AoD, quite poorly modelled)

Depends on what's modded... For purity it'd make sense to play Vanilla 1.04, but screw the purity: this is about fun. I say mods are in (so long as you declare what's modded and it is not a "cheat" mod).

shouldnt tech team takeover be allowed since if u had 100 IC ur tech teams would irl be better than if u had 20

Yes I certainly remember that Storm.

My policy on WC is that a small amount of modifications are allowed in the beginning, and to decrease them as the game progresses and you get stronger.
Also no gamey tactics allowed and absolutely no alliances!

With that policy, the smallest country I achieved WC with is...Albania.

So close. Long forgotten memories...

But wow seems Enewald had to go at least 10 pages deep to the forum archieves to dig up this link.

I really respect the effort, so I'm gonna try if playing Luxemburg is any easier in AoD, probably not. ...If I won't be posting glorious pictures of Luxemburg's pwnage anytime soon, assume the worst!


And I just can't think of any cheating in WC. Even using easy difficulty and full ic takeover feels a bit lame. I mean it isn't a WC if you cheat, it's more like WCF (WorldCheatFest). World Conquest is blood, sweat and tears, aka no cheats! But everyone does this stuff their own way, so who am I to judge.
