I sincerely hope the Majesty2 collectors edition won't be bugged. I recently purchased the Elven Legacy collection, and a particularly interesting misson, probably the final of the "Magic"- campaign, can't be startet because of a bug...
 
I purchased the collection yesterday on Steam. An would like to know how I can transfer saves from original Majesty 2 over to it since its apparently considered a different game with its own directory.

I didn't know multiplayer was broken maybe i'll try to connect in a minute an see if it works.

edit: Ok I tried multiplayer an there was one other person in the lobby. He made a game but we had different versions so I could not join. So I don't know if it works for sure.

Also on Steam at least the collection doesn't have a picture yet in my library.

Hmmm, I purchased the Majesty 2 Collection from GamersGate, but all I received was a Majesty 2 CD Key and not the Collection CD Key. I already had Majesty 2, I just wanted the new icon and Monster Kingdom. :(

Oh really? I noticed if I unchecked the filter I could see other games with different versions. I also noticed each expansion is considered its own version of the game. Which is definitely a silly way of doing it since that means there is four different versions of the game at least.

So your saying that if me an another person both started up Monster Kingdom our versions would still be different?

I suggest PM'ing Kallocain. If you ask nicely, she might be able to resolve this for you. I had a similar problem with Elven Legacy back in the day.

QUESTION AGAIN: If i already have all the expansions, how can I receive all items from the Majesty 2 online store wihouth paying LARGE sums of money?

How would you reward people who bought your games earlier? With NO items?

Um, buy the collection when it goes on sale? Your concern is a standard concern for all games. Early adopters of games and expansions pay full price for them. They get the pleasure of playing the game while there is an active community and while it is "new". People that wait for the GOTY edition (or whatever the publisher calls the bundle) get everything for significantly less. It has been this way for quite a long time now. And is standard economics. When the next new game comes out, you need to decide if you want to pay full price for it and get the advantage of playing it when it is new, or wait a year or more for the bundle to come out that has all content and bugfixes and is cheaper.
 
Yeah, but rewarding only people who wait for Gold edition is not a smart idea in long term. I think that items in the online store should be set to FREE if the buyer has all the expansions...

The loyalty is very valuable in business...
 
Just bought it from Amazon.
Majesty II isn't as good as MFKS:Gold, but for that amount of money I can easily get entertainment out of all the x-packs and DLC. Plus it's on a disk.

Now what to do with my original MFKS2 DVD...
