I'll be retrying another game as Japan, this 1.1 Normal/Normal.

As you can see, much of South East Asia, is forest, and mountains, the Imperial army has its work cut out.
It is decided that the first round of research and production will be focused on improving the airforce, and Japanese industries. Contracts are handed out to the likes of Mitsubishi, Nakajima, and Mitsui.
Hopefully a strong Airforce will be able to keep Japans enemies at bay, and destroy enemy infantry divisions from the air, before the Imperial Army is needed.
Contracts awarded:
3 divisions are to be raised by spring, recent Shanxi activity along the Manchukuo border have high command worried, so it is decided that positions along the border will be reinforced.
The Kwantung Area Army HQ is ordered to take up their new positions at Xinjing, the captial of Manchukuo.
