You know there's a medieval Sims under development, right?

Unsurprisingly, EA's game is tending more toward sword and sorcery RPG stuff than this game will have -- at least, I hope there won't be any dragons in this game!

A number of folks in the Sims community have decided that it isn't really a Sims game (no building things, and class selection versus free creation of people - neither of which sounds like a Sims game feature), but that the boss said put plumbobs in it and no one will notice it's actually an RPG 'til after they've bought it.

Or maybe I'm being cynical.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll sell like hotcakes.

With Electronic Arts in the picture, it's hard to be too cynical.

Why do they sent people to these presentations who don't know anything about a game. :)

He could just as well mean that as king of England the duke of Normandy (which is part of the kingdom of France) is your vassal, this is already in CK1.

Or he could really mean that the king of England is a vassal of the king of France, but then only as the duke of Normandy.

He says "under your control in other countries" so if we ignore his example, which might very well be born simply from what he understood and not from what the feature will actually be, like Orinsul I believe this might mean that in CK2 you can control all members of your dinasty directly.

If so, cool! I am the paterfamilias. I am bona fide! (or materfamilias, as the case might be)
