Fully dug-in Art-brigaded stacks of 12-20 Inf/Gar per mountain province of lvl2-4 forts laugh at anything the German Air AI is capable of mustering against them. ;)

Actually a single division fully dug-in will practically not take any damage from Lufwaffe ground attacks on any terrain with zero forts. More divisions stack/ forts are needed only against Wehrmacht and their panzergruppes. The Spanish dream must not be fouled :)

I think now would be the perfect time to start some construction in the Pyrenees. Some good sized fortesses will keep even a completely flat province safe, let alone a mountain range.

Well, fellas, bad news.

I've been planning the AAR since its very beginning with a vegeance, as you may imagine. The first part of this silly revenge had already been fulfilled and now it was turn to "go for the kill", so to speak, that is, changing the roles of the main characters of the two sides of the SCW and see what came next. And I'm afraid I was not going to do any good with that. I've played till June 22, 1941 -how nice! :D- and reread the notes for my characters (Franco, Azaña, Rojo, Queipo, Churchill, Stalin, Hitler et al) and I saw that I was allowing my inner soul to rely too much with "common topics" and lacking the essential detachment to keep the story as that, and not like a revengeful satire of circumstances, too vicious and distateful to be worth reading (for instance, Hitler invaded Spain on October 22, 1940 :D:D:D).

All in all, I've decided to put an end to this. The first part is good enough as it stands, so, let's forget the failed continuation and call it a day.

Thanks for you comments and support and, well, there are more AARs to follow! :D

Aww! I was enjoying it :(.

Oh well, knowing you, you'll move on to bigger and better things :)

Oh too bad. :(
It was a great ride though, as always with your AARs. :)

Fair enough, kurt. Thank you for the story. I look forward to following your (and Peti's) many other efforts on these boards.
