Not much, you pay more money, they make more money. 
I don't know if there are any CB's in the refuse loan process in MP, I must say I doubt it.

Well Attila, that's why I asked in the first place. Someone in our game was offering loans, and I couldn't help but get suspicious. I know it's not out of the kindness of his heart!
Hey I can take it (barely) if some joker out-maneuvers me with a diplo-annex, but I DON'T want to be sitting there going "But wait!" because of some tricky financial move!

Say u are desperate for cash and your rich ally offers you money in a loan, 1% interest or so.
Though, that could always come with a gift as well.
I always give gifts to my allies... a bit nasty to squeeze a loan out of them... Sounds like something one of those stingy swedes would do
