A message for our Console Community

Hello Console Builders,


We see some of you are disappointed by the color variations in the latest update not being available to console players.

We’d like to let our console community know that we see your messages, requests, inquiries and feedback for due updates & upgrades specific to console.

While at this stage we are unable to share more information, we can confirm that we are currently working on an update and will keep you posted.


We’d like to ask for your patience while we work on making this available very soon to our Console community.

I am, beyond any other feelings I might have, relieved that this has finally been given a response. It is fine (though of course at times frustrating) that features may not make the jump to console 1:1, somethings are sacrificed and I think console players of all people know and understand this.

That being said, the silence around this has engendered more anger from the community than what full-blown honesty would have done. A simple "No" or "Not at this date" would have eased many minds, with the prospect of it coming later possibly even exciting people, replacing those negative emotions!

I'm looking forward to this feature in my version, as I feel it will really change the vibe of cities and will add some additional mood to some. And now I'm glad to know more about the situation and what to expect

An explanation about the limitation of having more tiles would reduce the daily requests.

Pinning a post about 9 tiles might be beneficial.

Doesn't help when the Cities Twitter gives the impression something is in the works. And even if it was/is, don't tease it

I’m very glad that they’ll fix it very soon. Thank you for doing this for us. I hope you guys could consider more tiles extra 3 or 6 tiles which is between 12-15 tiles that would be very nice, I know older console version can’t handle it but Xbox series x and ps5 users can withstand its power, hope other pc players could get it too without mods. Maybe a dlc for more tiles would be great, that’s my suggestion. Again thank you for trying to fix it as soon as it’s done fixing. Can’t wait for other announcement

As the vanilla base Steam/PC edition only supports 9 tiles, and that limit will not be changed there, I'm sure it will not be changed in the console edition either as it follows the base edition.

If there is to be a CSL2, perhaps then!

I'm just saying that the community asks for this every day, in every social media, and a post like this could calm them down.

I wish cities ps4 edition just work correctly. Myexports have just about stopped and my freight trucks are at 0
