Hi,
Would this idea work as a MOD for EU: Rome?
I have always wanted to play a game where you could play as Rome from the kingdom days (as you can in Legion) and then play to maybe the last days of the Empire.
Would this work in EU: Rome?
I don't have much experience when it comes to modding games post-HoI2 basically, so if anyone with greater experience would want to pick up this idea and make this MOD for EU: Rome I would be really happy and with this thread I'm also giving my permission to use the idea (Like I would try to stop you :p )
Anyway, would this idea be able to be implented in EU: Rome and is there any intrest from other players out there to have a MOD like this? :)

The hardest part would be doing the date, because that is hard coded, but people could just pretend that it is 300 years earlier. The date may be able to be set back, but the guy who does the unlimited time mod would have to help you with that (or somebody else who does that). This would be an interesting mod, but it would take a lot of time and skill that I don't have.

Modding these games is really easy, you would be able to pull it off if you just read some of the text files in the game, and studied them for a while, hopefully you get help.

The things I feel that would have to be added/changed would be events and more nations (Mostly in Italy) and maybe making the map smaller...
