well in all actuality he does. i can't remember exactly what but he is in relation to CK2, HOI 4, and Stellaris but he sure as hell isn't idle with them.

No, he does not handle CK2 or Stellaris, that being Doomdark's domain. He is the Paradox Interactive EVP Game Development though.

He did create the most successfull EU:Rome mod, a mod that in my opinion actually managed to make EU:Rome a pretty good game.

He also made a democratic let's play on the something awful forum, wherein he played crete, and made use of the games mechanics to great effect.
I would say that he is pretty qualified.

While I'd personally love Vicky 3, I reckon Ringhloth's theory is pretty good, and that's where my money would be at this stage. I'm deffo not unhappy about it either - Rome 2 (or ancient game along similar vein) would be almost as welcome as Vicky 3 .

Yeh, but Wiz and Groogy helped Podcat with the surprise Victoria 2 patch. Stellaris won't be out for a while. Considering HOI4 is officially in beta, by the time Stellaris is out, HOI4 should be released and rolling along. Johan is taking over as lead of a mature Europa Universalis IV. In 6 months, will it need Johan to run it?

Point being, Wiz and Johan will be freed up about the same time. Was it not Johan that rallied support for Vicky 2? As a result, I think Vicky 3 is equally as likely as Rome 2.

Basically this. Victoria 3 has more love from the devs, and has been the one they have shown most interest in. Wiz has also said he loves Victoria 2, but thinks its a shame how it turned out (or at least all the problems in it), so he probably wants to start sketching and drawing up some foundations for a new Vic, then later, after Hoi4 is released, Podcat and Johan can contribute to make it a reality

well podcat does have a list of ideas for V3. the main problem was that there was no internal champion and thus no real motivation to start work on it, which makes sense because PDS already has plenty of things to do with CK2 and EU4 while developing HOI 4 and stellaris.

I mean, for podcat to start tinkering with Vicky 2 again, just because he read about some common complaints on the forum, is pretty remarkable. All I'm saying is it's the right time in the cycle for Vicky 3, so I don't find it less likely than Rome 2 to be the new project.

impossible, Johan and Dan like to tease him with treats by dangling a twinkie tied to a stick and then running around the office yelling "wiz! here boy! come get your treats!". he must've gotten it. lucky Wiz is just happy he got fed for the week.
