Which leaves me to wonder.. how fast can you rush towards Muskets/cannons? :D
That is, if you really, really, put your mind to it.. half a century before ETA? ;)

The old information was that tech was divided over 'eras' and you had to take some 80% of an 'era' to be allowed to pass to the next.

But that might have changed a lot since - although I'd say muskets should be out of the game (hand cannons/cavilers/arquebuses might be in though) and artillery should be (theoretically) possible from 1350es.. (IMHO) (Useful artillery for sieges/battlefields should take longer though - early artillery was more useful as a anti-morale weapon)

The only thing I dislike is the bright red border.

I agree. Perhaps a darker, thinner line, or a bit of 3-D would help.

Also, a way needs to be devised to distinguish between those rivers that are also red borders, and those which are not. (For example, in the latest screenshot it is not possible to tell if Montpellier and Provence are held by the same person, or by two different people)

They might use a similar system to that which they used in Victoria, in which inventions are only activiated at a certain date.

I think he is talking about the fonts in the map (province names). They are a little hard to read, and they king of look like hebrew :)

Maybe but as I said before, once I zoom in alittle I don't have trouble reading them. As for what language they look like I don't know, cause I'm not familira with Hebrew.

Well here ya go - they sort of resemble each other :)

Hmm... Paradox is searching for a programmer i think... hey Sid com'on

The font's don't look like Hebrew to me. They look more like a programmer putting what they think is medieval writing in.

Rofl it is hebrew. I can 100% vouch for some of it anyway.

I wanna see Byzantium!!!!!!
