Basically its just what you asked for, a way to compare units. If want to compare infantry units , you click on the infantry and it will list them all, then you can click a stat or special capability and it will reorganize it to show best to worst or if it has it or doesnt. IE, if you want to see which infantry has the best soft attack values click on soft attack and it show best to worst. If you want to see which ones are amphibious or air dropabble click on those, cost the most click that, see if their air droppable , Tech level , Fuel capacity etc....any stat or info you want.

Sounds interesting. But does it work with Windows 7? I noticed somebody on that thread complain about it not working on Vista.

GC=Global Crisis....Are you using Gold Version? There may be some info on that on Page 5 of that thread. Be sure to have latest updates as well.
No, I don't have any of the add-ons. And that is because for some reason STEAM only has the original Supreme Ruler 2020 and not any of the add-ons.

If your interested in the game, just go to a digital download store and buy the Gold Version. Maybe the GC version will work with your Steam version ( maybe Balthagor would know). You will get all the newest features (well worth it). Plus will you might like some of the mods offered on the BG forums by the forum members as well.
You might look on Amazon, someone posted they saw it for 39 cents there awhile back.

Yes, if you purchase the expansion it will recognize a Steam installation as valid to upgrade from. It's discussed a bit in the steam forums.
