I play as Soviet Union in Doomsday C.O.R.E mod.
How do I ever get to research Functional radar? I mean Industrial Economy is blocked. Therfore I cant research 39 Base industry wich therefore makes it impossible to research 1937 Electronics wich again makes it impossible to get functional radar.

Will an event occur that lets me get to research this one or something?

No, research. Once you've researched the recovery techs the 1939 base and heavy industry should be accessible.

Ok, I just discovered a new problem. I cant resaerch Great Depression. with out this I cant get both of the the lines of recovery research.

Hi,

Great Depression is a very negative Tech that you don't want. The Recovery techs counteract the Great Depression, but suck up alot of research. So as the SOV you are better of without these techs. This models the isolation of the SOV economy from the world's economic troubles during this time frame.

You still can. Just research the 1939 base/heavy industry techs and from there on you can unlock the electronics, radar techs IIRC. You're only late in being able to playing Russia, that's all.
