I wanted to run something by everyone, so everyone let me know what you think. It's possible to mod the reinforcent rate for cohorts per month, but what if we set it to zero? That way armies wouldn't be receiving reinforcements in enemy territory. Of course, they wouldn't be reinforced in home territory either, but that would also force people to build new cohorts and merge old ones, which would make NI's that had to do with cohort production much more attractive. Would it be possible to write an event to give an army sitting in home territory reinforcements after a set period of time?

The one problem I can think of is can you merge cohorts that are loyal to a certain general? If not, that would create a bit of an issue as the cohorts would remain understrength forever.

Ideas?

AI won't cope with them indeed; but if you use increased damage from battles, you'll have to merge them, as they soak up much more damage...
