so, I've been playing victoria revolutions for some time. its patched and everything, and it was running really smoothly, i never had ctds in 3 completed games which is great.
but now I'm playing as english, and I have a really weird problem. the game ran fine until around 1850's. but now, whenever I click on a province, the game freezes for 2 seconds (I can't get the mouse to move, time doesn't run etc). This used to happen when I clicked on the crown button on top left, but now that's not the case anymore. oh, I get the same thing for clicking on the population tab or the research tab.. but if I don't click on those, the game runs smoothly..
starting a new game doesn't help, neither does restarting my computer.
I have a 2.4ghz dual core intel processor, 2ghz ram, geforce 7900gtx ... so the problem is not my computer specs (the game ran completely fine and smooth for 3 games from 1836 to 1935).
