I was wondering if someone could write an event chain for Canada deciding to keep England and Scotland after a successful invasion of the isles. I want cores on UK territory and an event to decide whether or not to move the capital/royal family to London or stay in Ottawa, and maybe an event for a tag change to the UK or a union type thing like Austria-Hungary.

Canada *can* keep the lands of the UK, but for cores and the like, no. Cores represent the local populous accepting the rule of the country and for some reason I am not seeing the British enjoying (essentially) colonial masters from Canada. As for a super UK of GB and Canada, again no because of the same reason. Any amount of a Federal Empire would be impossible to maintain because of the distances between the countries. Most importantly though is that Canada has been a free nation for some time now, and the Canucks wouldn't give up their sovereignty just because the King would want them to. If the Canucks would do that, why isn't the UK just based in Canada at the start? :)

I find that cores represent more of an attachment from the owner/previous owner to the land. For instance, in Vannila HOI Nazi Germany has a bunch of cores on Poland to spite that the Poles would clearly be more accepting towards Poland than Nazi Germany.

It is horribly unrealistic and impractical for Canada to try and maintain control of the UK and cores would allow it to do so. Either way though, the goal was to get the British monarchy back on the throne so that's what should happen.

And then Canada looses a bunch of manpower, half of it's tech teams and leaders... Did that once, won the war, released the UK and after all the avents about UK felt like a looser.

Okay, but from the player's piont of view, getting penalties instead of a reward when you win kinda sucks :).

Well, it's realism. The only reason why Canada is a major power in KR is solely because of the Exiles, once they leave for the Liberated UK Canada would begin to fade away.
