No, I'm not requesting "A" Victoria 3, but rather, a request about how the game is made.

Many Paradox users, in fact, I'd say the majority, like games for their war aspect.
Victoria 2 is the furthest from that. It has many diplomatic and economic aspects not found in other games.

I would like to make a humble request, on behalf of those who enjoy the economics more than the warfare.

Please spend more time developing the non-combat aspects of any Victoria 3 you may make in the future. I'm not saying downgrade or eliminate it, I'm requesting that the priority be on economics and diplomacy. Make Victoria 3 "the" go to game for those who do not want a strict focus on warfare.

I really love the converter for CK2 to EU4 and It would be so awesome for a converter to go on to Vicky 3. The re-playability would be huge which in my opinion was one of past Victoria franchise games flaws.

There was an interview where someone said something along the lines of "now that you did for ck2 to eu4 all other releases the players will demand something similar" and Johan just kinda shrugged and lead them to believe that Paradox may very well make a converter for future games too. WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME

Yes.

Paradox, when you make Victoria 3 I promise to buy three copies on day 1. :p

Paradox, when you make Vicky3, I promise to buy one copy of it, probably trying to wait until a steam sale, but fail miserably in the waiting and buy at full price 3 weeks after release and likely even paying extra for 'preorder bonii' such as savegame converters. (This is what happened with EU4)

Also, +1 for Vicky3. Although it won't happen. But still, one can hope.

The heart of Vikky lies in the political manoeuvring and slowly approaching doom of industrialization, balancing the needs of the rich, along with those of the poor, dealing with old enemies and friends and trying to exploit as much of the world as possible, in order to have more resources in order to beat your nefarious enemy and feed your coal fired factories.

Can't wait for it, really hope they either begin development soon, or give at least a little confirmation of it being in progress...

I really don't get anyone asking Paradox to work *less* on something. What are you thinking of? Was the military aspect of Vicky 2 well done? Personally I found it the weakest bit - a "move=attack" system would greatly improve it.

Personally I'd like to see military role decreased to minimum in every paradox game (as it's actually non-existent because we've very small influence over it) on behalf of realm management. If I can't lead forces "personally" then I'd like to influence them only indirectly- it'd be most fair.
