As we've added Yoshiharu Iwanaka to the line-up of CORE tech teams in 0.30 I'd really like to see his image included. So far all the English sites have turned up blanks unfortunately, but maybe some Japanese sites might... Unfortunately my grasp of Japanese is practically zero. So any help from somebody who has is appreciated... :)

I'll do my best to find him! I am Japanese and all, should I try to find a color photo of him? And how big should it be?

A color image would be the Holy Grail. ;) But as I don't have an image at all as of now I'm really happy with anything... Should you happen to run across several images (preferably high-resolutions ones) just collect them and send them over to me, so I can toy with them to see which one is best. But for now anything will do. :D

Tech team images come at 96x96 pixels in any case.

For the record here are the COREd Japanese tech teams. Most of them I have covered (only Yoshiharu Iwanaka is the odd one out), but should you happen to run across better alternatives I'm more than welcome to consider replacing them. Just PM your email address and I'll pass along the stuff I got as of now. As I'm totally stuck to websites in English my sources are somewhat limited. For companies we/I try to get original logos in first and foremost, with images of the company or their main products a close second.

Diesel Motor Industry Co., T1925
Osaka Rikugun Zoheisho, T1926
Tama Army Technical Research Institute, T1927

Kawasaki Kokuki Kogyo KK, T1930
Yoshiharu Iwanaka, T1931
Kyushu Hikoki KK, T1934
Minoru Genda, , T1935

And thanks for your efforts, I really appreciate it!

I'm having a hard time finding any pictures of him actually, though I'll keep up the search, his name is 岩仲義治 in Japanese if you want to search with that.

I know the feeling. ;) But I really appreciate your efforts!

Just giving an update, my search has lead me here:

http://imperialarmy.hp.infoseek.co.jp/general/prefecture/chugoku.html

This is a site in Japanese for a lot of generals and their pictures in the Imperial Army that would have been hard to find in English, unfortunately Yoshiharu Iwanaka's image is not there in his bio, I'll continue searching! Though there's only so many places to look.

Two longshot methods:
1) maybe another forum (e.g. Axis History) could rustle up a picture.
2) the other would be a round-about search (e.g. by people/places/things/events he might be associated with) rather than directly.

I tried the Axis History Forum, they had a topic discussing about him.

Well, through my searching I know that he commanded the Japanese 2nd Tank Division and lead the largest tank battle in the Pacific on the Philippines. Though if you search for that you get a lot of pictures with destroyed tanks. If anyone else can help, please do so!

I found out that Tasuku Okada and him were good friends, and were in the same tank units, maybe Yoshiharu Iwanaka was in a picture with him? I don't know, but I know that Hearts of Iron has pictures of Okada.

I was able to find only the one image of Okada (and of him alone), actually... I do appreciate your help so far, though!
