Have you stopped by AARland's main hall lately? If not, or you have yet to notice it, anonymous4401 was kind enough to put together another round of the AARland Choice AwAARds, and for quarter 4, the voting is for all of the games (save Dippy.)

Head to this thread to get the particulars and to cast your vote. It has been extended to the end of the month so there is still enough time to vote for your favorites. Stop by today! :D

Thank you, Coz, for posting this in the individual fora!

Folks might be reminded, too, of all the other interesting things going on over in the "General Discussions" section, like:

The "Guess the Author" writing and critiqueing challenge
Writing tips at the SolAARium
The WritAAR of the Week
The AAR Showcase of the Week
The Fan of the Week
Links to all the other game forums

... and many other important and/or interesting threads that no one gets to see if they don't visit!

It's really too bad many folks don't check the general discussions occasionally, or even know where it is!

Thanks, Renss. And you are right.

And a note to all CK folks - Vickie and CK have now been split so each will have their own winners. Since Vickie already had a session of AARland Choice for Q3, this is the first time the CK folks can vote for their very own favorites. Make sure your voice is heard and your favorite AAR from Q4 is mentioned.

Gladly, we are still getting some more votes for this.

And THANK YOU to those who are going back and adding Vicky and CK votes if they didn't originally vote for both! That will help honor both of these worthy games.

If you have already voted, but not in all categories, here is your chance!

And anyone new, there's still time to make a difference in the end results. Few of these awards are "decided" -- many are either tied or are within one or two votes of other AARs under consideration.

Notice: Only 26 hours before voting on the AARLand Choice Awards is cut off! You still have time to cast votes on as many of these as you can (you DO NOT have to vote in all categories -- vote what you know).

If you have already voted, you might check back to see if you voted separately for Victoria and Crusader Kings -- the original voting instructions from Anonymous had them voted for as one set (i.e. competing against each other). Since I have taken over I have changed that.

Stand up for your own forum, and please at least vote for those AARs you are familiar with! The more votes we get for these awards, the more the awards will mean to the winners.

Thanks!

Reposted from the main thread in the AAR General Discussion Forum:

First, let me say that these are truly some incredible works of prose and art! I've flipped through most of these, and they are all really worth checking out. I don't even own Crusader Kings, but many of these stories have drawn me in, and made me wish and pray for more reading time! :D

Great job to our writers! And thank you for everybody who voted in a CK category!
