I’ve noticed it’s not possible to remove upgrades for service buildings without bulldozing the entire thing. Would be nice to be able to reposition bus depot garages and the sports/health upgrades for the schools.

Should ideally be able to add, move, and remove extensions and even upgrades. Also ability to put extensions next to existing extensions rather than limiting to main building, and ability to put extensions on other side of road to main building.

Exactly this!
It makes it so much more realistic to have add-on buildings just "in the area" then hardcore connected. I see how that would make sense for some buildings (eg. cemetery) but most buildings would still feel realistic if add-ons are next to other add-ons or even on the other side of the street. I can't even count the amount of times I tried both of those options :D

For "over the road" extensions I was also hoping that some would have walkways that attach to buildings. There were some awesome assets in CS1 that the "extension buildings" (just ploppables designed for placing on other side of 2-lane road) would have a little bridge - even though it was only a visual thing. Also, we should be able to connect ped paths and roads to similar things within a building. Like, in CS1 we could connect ped paths to the path within a park. There was also a CS1 recycling center asset that had normal road running through middle of it so player could connect both ends to their road system and garbage trucks would deliver the garbage to the inside of the building then keep driving straight on to the exit of the building.
