The game seems to randomly deem your vanilla ironman game "cheated or modified" after a few re-launches of the game (basically, re-loading the save after shutting off the game). This is the second time it's happened to me now, not a freak occurrence. Lost a Byzantium achievement because of it and ruined my Soviet run. Makes reliably getting achievements impossible. Game started with achievements allowed by the way.
