So right now I have my mod pretty set. I have a folder under Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/mod and in that folder I copied the common and history folders with my modifications in them. I also have a .mod file with the path and name of the mod in it.

When I open ck2 to test the mod tho, it doesn't show up in the mod section. Am I doing something wrong?

(Btw I'm operating on MacOS if that helps)

You must copy the "common", "history" folders to a folder that is immediately below the "Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/mod" structure. This is the folder that must be mentioned inside the .mod file like:

Code:
name = "Mymod Name v.1.0"
path = "mod/Mymod"

In this case the folder mentioned above is called Mymod.
