hello!

I’d love too see access given to the public modding community to add mods to the console edition of Skylines. Currently if we are honest, the kids available are laughable. Especially when you look at when other games have done, let’s not talk about the failures of those games however.

Specifically for myself to see something like Traffic Manager: presidential and Move It mod brought to the console would definitely improve my enjoyment of building functioning City. Not to mention all the other crest content out there for the pc, to believe if those creators want to reach more people they should have the opportunity.

Mods will never be added to console. The base game is itself was not made for mods. The PC version was created to allow gamers to add content. Gamers like yourself started creating assets and mods that could be added to the game. The game developers had nothing to do with this. Due to the popularity of the PC game, the developers began to take idea's from the content creators to use for some of the DLC that are now available. But the mods were not apart of this, as mods make the game behave differently. Your console is not made for modded games so that means gamers can't edit the code of the game for any game. The best you can hope for is content creator packs, created for console with the permission of the original asset creators. So for example, the art deco content creator pack was created by Matt Crux I believe. So they paid him to license his creations for use for everyone. But this is limited as the console can only hold so much data. So honestly, if you love the game like I do, think about investing in a PC. It will change your gameplay for CS 360!
