Hello I've been trying to add heir designation to Messalian via the 00_religion file but when I launch the game I don't have the little crown interface option to select the chosen heir. Is there something else I need to modify to get this to work? Thank you for any help!!

Do you have gavelkind? Heir designation doesn't work with any of the gavelkind or elective successions.
I tried on primogeniture and the other one but still can't get the option, but thank you I didn't know about the gavelkind issues!
