Adding Leaderfiles affect MP?

I was wondering when you add a leaderfile, does it affect MP games with people who don't have the added leader?

I think the picture pack can cause CTD unless everybody in mp has it..

As to leaderfiles - I think it might...

Yes.. having any kind of file differences between versions will cause CTD's.

We have played successful games were some players had the semioffical picture/minister pack installed and some didn't. Sprite packs are also of no concern for MP.

We have never tried different leaderpacks but some players delete the pictures in the leaderdirectory (not the directory itself) to speed the game up. The game still works in SP and MP.

not to argue the pount but one logged example of a CTD due to the picture pack was when you couped spain and some of the players didnt have the pack. As Johan said any kind of file difference can cause a CTD.

Yes any differances in data files can cause CTD's.

I see it all the time. As for some people having the picture pack and others not; wait until another player takes the place of one who has the picture pack.

Boom CTD.
