I'm trying to add some new traits, but for some reason the trait tga files I've placed in gfx\traits folder isn't loaded properly. Instead I get a wierd head. I've also tried adding the tga files to the traits.gfx file in the interface folder, but still no luck. Any advice?

Got it working... Notepad had added .txt behind the .gfx file, which I couldn't see because of the folder setup. :eek:o

Another question though. Is there any way to prevent a trait from being randomly assigned to randomly create chars?

EDIT: Also how to do add transparancy to the tga files? Even though I've selected a color as transparant in Paint Shop Pro it just shows up as white in the game.

in spqr we found no way for this problem except creating a "clearing" event for random_given traits and adding a character_flag to the events that give the traits "in a right way". take a look at the admin_traits.txt in event-foulder of any spqr-installation for examples.

I figured I would properly have to do something along those lines. For now I've simply done some work arounds.

I also solved the transparency issue after googling around a bit.
