I've been wondering if the current unit and building numbers are the cap. Have anyone tried adding a new unit or building type? I could imagine that the max number of building would be 10, since we run out of slots in the GUI after that. Havn't tried it yet though, so if anyone have some experience here I'd love to know.

Re buildings, I am told it is possible to put more smaller boxes on that bit of the GUI, but if one adds too many then the ledger becomes a problem.

I do not know if it's possible to add new units. My strong suspicion is that it's not. If it IS, then I think we modders could have a lot of fun. :)
 
Since most stuff with Paradox games can be modified, i guess untis (they look kinda 'open') could be modified. There is a units.csv and a folder for units.txt files, so i guess one could add more different forces.

Persian immortals would be great ^^

Well... Paradox engines are very flexible, but they have hardcoded limits. As far as units goes it is mostly a matter of how the engine matches the info in the csv with the graphic files. If we are lucky it would simply be a matter of adding another icon at the end of the graphic file. If we are unlucky the game wont accept a file with a different resolution than the one in vanilla.
