I'd like to adjust the speed limit of roads because I think two 3 lane one way roads should be faster than a 6 lane two way road, similar to highways.

My suggestion is to add/modify some of the road attachments.
1. Removing sidewalks from one or both sides of the road. The lanes would be wider, and lower risks to people as there would be fewer/no pedestrians. Something like a 10-20 km/h boost on these roads would be reasonable scaling with the size of the road and the number of one way lanes. Hypothetically this could include the two way roads as well with a similar effect. Perhaps two way roads get a smaller boost in speed.
2. Removing parking. This would be a new attachment, but I think it works in a similar fashion to my other suggestion, lanes have more space.
3. Adding a speed boost attachment. I think this would be effective, but comes with no "real" reason to boost the speed.

I think this would solve some of the issues I've been having with road hierarchy and wanting finer control over road asymmetry. :)
