No way. It'd be integral to have the East African coast if they are to do a complete trade integration with merchant republics and trade routes and all. They were a crucial part of the Indian Ocean Trade, predating the Silk Road.

Glad to know we're getting the Swahili coast (up to Zanzibar, hopefully they mean the lands that were controlled by the Zanzibar Sultanate because not having Kilwa or Lindi would be really weird)
I would love for us to also have the Great Lakes/Kitara area as well and maybe even Kongo as that's at the same latitude, but if it's just the Swahili Coast I'll take it.
