Again: No music!

The game works fine, there is only one small problem. I get no backgroundmusic. I read all the FAQ threads, there seems a lot of people with the same problem, but there seems no solution up to now.
I have no music neither on my notebook nor on my desktopcomputer. On both I am using Windows 98 + Windows Plus. I have got the German Version of the game. Please help.



P:S: This is the only game I have problems so far. Therefore please don´t tell me I have got a strange combination of hardware.

Do you have the latest patch? (1.09)
I didnt get music till I installed it.

Also do you have a soundcard with A3D?
Sound cards with A3D sometimes creates problems with music ingame.
If you do have a soundcard with A3D then try to turn off A3D. It might help.

And BTW, the music aint excactly great. So you shouldnt be too sorry if you cant hear it.

Thanks for your help. I have the latest sound driver installed and I have the latest patch. I can even hear normal CD while playing. BTW I don´t really miss the music because I never heard it. I know I can download the MP3 files... I will see if I am motivated enough though...
