That event - adding you 500 VP when you control Rome as Byz is not in EEP but in AGC !!
In AGC there is only one campaign - "Alternative Grand Campaign" which already has some fantasy events (also for byzantium".
In EEP there are two campaigns - historical one and "byz fantasy" with some fantasy events.
Hard to tell which one is better,it´s just different experience
