AGCEEP 1.37 CTD but EU2 "Vanilla" fine

EU2 with patch 1.08 runs fine. I just downloaded the AGCEEP 1.37 and installed it into the EU2 folder. When I try AGCEEP 1.37, I get a CTD when the scenario opens - i.e., I selected GC & Byzantium and then the screen goes black with a CTD when the scenario is read and the game should begin. I have NO TROUBLE with the regular EU2.

I changed avi to avi_back and went to 16 bit but no effect on the AGCEEP problem. I have a DELL, running XP with SP2 and keep all the drivers updated. Thank you

did not know about april 21 beta - all is fine now

I wasn't aware that the April 21 beta was needed. I used it (very catiously as I had horrible problems with an earlier beta) and AGCEEP opens fine as does the "vanilla" EU2.

I assume the beta is a modification of the official 1.08 patch?

The beta patches are addons to the 1.08 patch and you need that patch before you install them. The AGCEEP, provide all support themselves as we do not support user made mods. Check with them for any future problems that may arise when you have that mod installed.
