Well, first I would say that's the trade off of focusing on a particular resource type. Chance for mediocre yields on non-focused resources, but also the chance for amazing yields if they boost the focused resource.

I agree, partially since that's already the way it was in AoW3, and partially because I believe that's one of the benefits and drawbacks of specializing.

That's why I pointed it out first, before attempting to reconcile the other poster's idea with a possible answer.
 
Sorry for a stupid question (I'm just start to play this game, so don't know mechanics). But accroding to your description colony can have 5 sectors only:

1-5 2 Outpost
6-10 3 Town
11-15 4 City
16+ 5 Metropolis
But I have 6 o_O:cool::D:rolleyes: So...Maybe I didn't undesrstand correctly how it should be counted, or it's just a bug?

P.S. Created Fort on a new sector, created new colony near this fort, anexed another sector by main sity (5 sectors in total) near this Fort. When new colony can add new sectors, fort added to main city (not to a new city) and now we get 6 sectors for the main city.

so, first of all: Thats quite a huge Necro you got there.
Secondly: At that time, this was true. A city could only have the city + 4 districts, for a total of 5 sectors. This was changed in an update later on, introducing the 'Residential Sectors'. These increased the limit of sectors you can annex. Thus it is up to city + 6 sectors, if you have built two Residential Sectors....
