I'm playing the Grand Campaign as Russia on normal settings with the 'North American' version 1.07c.

Whenever I am at war with a country, another country will usually declare war on me at such a time that they can wreck havoc upon my provinces. I like this.

Unfortunately, I have learned that if I offer a status quo peace immediately after they declare war, they will accept 100% of the time. This isn't just sometimes, I really mean 100% of the time. I've noticed that this is not the case for a country that I declared war on.

Perhaps there is a bug here?

What would annoy me is countries declaring war on me to support their allies and then they'd be asking for a white peace the next day.

Playing Spain in the GC, I would not let some of these countries of the hook. I'd invade them and take chunks away if not annex them entirely.

I would, however, grant peace to some of them, especially if I really wanted to concentrate on jerk countries like Savoy and France.
