So, I was messing around with some savegames and noticed the ai_hard_strategy sections of the save file. I remembered that this was a feature added to EU3 around about the time of the In Nomine expansion but didn't recall that it had been added to EUR, so out of curiosity added a few lines to \common\counties\Rome.txt to see if it works.

Well, it looks like it does. At least, it adds the lines to savegames from a new campaign, so the game is at least reading them.

Has anyone experimented with scripting the AI?

I'm going to try adding a few lines to my current Epigoni campaign save to make Carthage more likely to expand in Iberia and maybe break up some of the Greek alliances, see if it actually does anything :)
