How is the AI in CORE? Obviously, it has to have been changed to deal with the tech tree, but how is it compared to DD 1.3a AI? Compared to DAIM? And since I'm playing as the Soviet Union, can I expect the US to do D-Day, or will I have to liberate Western Europe myself?

At the moment, the AI is essentially the vanilla AI, modified to deal with our tech tree. We are looking at a significant rewrite of the AI for our next major release, but that won't be for some time.

Might I suggest that special attention be given to the AI's ability to handle a two-front war. As it is now, if the AI (say, Germany, for example) is fully engaged in Russia and the Americans land in France, the German AI does virtually nothing about redeploying units from Russia to the west until after Berlin has been captured. Defending the Third Reich (what's left of it) from the Americans behind a defensive line hastily established in Poland/Hungary is more than a tad futile after Germany has lost 90% of its industry.

yeah the two front war thing needs to be adressed , but from what i've read before the number one compalint is the pacific war ... The us naval AI is just incompetent ... it takes away alot of the fun of playing as japan if you really don't need to worry about the us or allies .
