Hello, i`m slightly confused about airbases and wonder if anybody could advise. This is from the DD PDF manual.......

If you station more wings at a base than the size of the base allows, then you will suffer from reduced rates of strength and organisation recovery, and it will take longer to upgrade your aircraft to the latest technology

Right straight forward enough but i`m not exactly sure how the game determines a "wing" I normaly put all my fighters, Intercepters, TAC, Strategics and Naval Bombers in groups of 4 as its the most you can group...apparently. At the moment i have a base thats got about 10 groups of my "squadrons" or groups of 4. So is a wing just 1 single unit of planes or a full "squadron" if so do i have to upgrade airbases to allow top effiency to every single unit of planes based there ?

the way i understand it is a wing is simply a unit. therefore 4 wings for one of your "squadrons". this would mean a maximum of 10 air units per airfield for maximum efficiency (for a lvl 10 airfield).
