I had a stack of bombers on a continual bombing run somewhere in eastern russia. I also had a stack of fighters near by. I wanted to move the fighters to another location to defend against enemy air attacks. When I moved to the new province the fighters would fly to the province and then the focus would switch back to my tac bombers on continual bombing runs. It would show the bombers bombing the province, after the mission was completed the focus switched back to the fighters and they would fly back to the original province as if they had conducted the bombing run them selves. Thus I could not move the fighters without stopping the bomb run.

I've had this happen a lot when I had different kinds of air missions going on. The game often can't properly show you two different bombing attacks going on in two adjacent provinces. The game can not handle two different kinds of aerial missions.

This may be a bug but you can handle the situation as you described by cancelling one aerial mission and letting the other proceed. So I don't think that this is going to be changed soon even if it is an acknowledged bug because there is a simple workaround.

Fair enough, I'm merely reporting the problem :)
