I'm wondering what plans are for aircraft types in this game;

  1. Firstly will you be implementing helicopters aswell as planes?
  2. Will aircraft be directly controllable like ships and boats?
  3. Will aircraft be "groupable" into flights of multiple vehicles, as it seems you will be doing for ships?

Thanks in advance for these answers :)

Are you planning to make this game APM (actions per minute) intensive? I don't know whether you guys are familiar with DEFCON, but they had/have an option to group ships into a fleet, however, it was quickly discovered that this was quite unhandy and people started micromanaging there fleets by controlling each individual ship. Same for planes and this can become quite bothersome and intensive.

Obviously, I don't know the pace of the game, it might be like R.U.S.E. or more like starcraft, but is this something you worry about, that the interface will be too demanding and the gameplay might become too focused on tactical play and APM requirements?

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes (at least same type of aircrafts)

Hope that answers your questions :)
Awesome, thanks a bunch. This has further secured my belief that this will turn out a good game :)

Control-wise, I think it'd be most convenient to have drop-down right-click things depending on what you right click on; it'd be the easiest to figure out, and wouldn't clutter the screen with permanent menubars etc. Just my two pence :)
