Alea iacta est: A Monday MP Rome campaign starting 1900 CEST 28th April

Okay, Its that time of the week again where I call out and take down names.

There is the question mark over the Carthage player, provisionally zimfan has been roped in to play them. Before tomorrow however i would like the usual confirmations please.

Rome: Walshy -
Egypt: Strono -
Seleucid Empire: Smowz - HOSTING and ATTENDING
Macedonia: Deus Irae -
Carthage: Zimfan -
Bosphurus Kingdom: Khul Drago -
 
Slight problem.

There's a Danish festival of sorts (Skt. Hans) tomorrow, which I thought was only on Tuesday. I'll have to leave at around 21:30 CET, so as I see it the options are:

1) Finding a last minute sub for Macedon.
2) Starting and/or ending the session earlier.
3) Leaving Macedon braindead for the last 1 1/2 hours of the session. It should be stable enough to survive a decade or two in that state.

I'd say the most realistic option (and the one requiring the least amount of organizing) would be 3. Apologies for the inconvenience guys.

Deus: We may try to play a shortened session. I was going to raise the possibility of running a second session as well next week.

I will. I will skip tomorrow's workout to be certain to make the session in time, and for us to be able to play having Deus with us.

I would vote against playing without Deus aswell.
You guys accommodated me once, we can certainly do that for Deus too.

On a practical level, it is quite possible an AI Macedonia will most likely push for a war, which maybe Deus could win, but he may not desire it; and certainly a war that the AI can't win. Would create unneeded complications.

Yes, we can run a second session next week, certainly, from my p.o.v.

In general, i would prefer two shortened sessions to one long one.

and playing as far as we can probably 2 1/2 - > 3 hours.

Okay as it stands we shall be playing an extra session on Wednesday 25th June.

This session shall start at 2000 cet. I hope we can get as close as possible to 700 avc on that session and perhaps go through until the end date on next mondays game.

will make a roll call on wednesday.

The Mercurial campaign is dead in the water, which is why i suggested Wednesday to fill its gap this week :)

Just a small suggestion. Maybe you could edit (not that important at this game, as we are nearing completion, but for future ones) the Roster section at the first post, then fill it out with "Confirmed" or "Subbed by" or something similar for each player, prior to each session, then reset it afterwards.
