All Bug's????

dear friends,

I have some problems:

1. without doing anything i' ve been set back to the desktop (i was on the normal screen)

2. i tried to quit from an alliance. i clicked on it said ok and... nothing happend!!! i was still in that terrible alliance

i own the 1.04 german version

Thisreally deserves to be the bug forum but...

1. Known as a CtD. Not alot you can do about it AFAIK, except save often.

2. You might not have any diplomats. Thats the only thing I can think of.

if you still have many CtDs post again with your config

2. don't know... it works usually... where you at war? if so it might be possible it doesn't work.

there are still ctd's, but that's quite ok - saving a lot...
my config:
amd 1700+ xp
256 ddr-ram cl2
epox 8kha+ mainboard
creative audigy player
leadtek geforce2 ti

absolutly yes - i was at war. but who cares??? why can't i leave an alliance at wartimes??? makes no sence to me...

as a beginner of eu2, are there any special things i should know???

Were you the leader of that alliance ? Leaders of an alliance cannot quit the alliance.

for the alliance, you might need to make peace before leaving it.

I'll be back later for the CtDs.

i think you both are right, it is the case that i currently can't leave because of that war.

check this thread and use the tool Detonator Destroyer to completely remove Nvidia's drivers and then install the latest one.

There's also DirectX Buster to remove DX 8.1 and reinstall it again. it might not hurt.

Usually, with these two tricks, most CtDs disapear.
