Hi all,
work is progressing on my ai update and balance update. I have been working on the 33 scen. and trying to get through to 45. I seem to always have something to change.

in last game I did see Pearl Harbor attack so that is great. Japan is beating china and i have been trying to balance that. Worked on trade alot. I did find out how to set ai countries control for not trading certian resources and stockpiling. in my last game the Sov. were trading away their money so now i have them stockpile it.

hey what are the requirements for decisions called the search for oil metals energy and rare materials and for the national development plan?...also where can i find a list of all the decisions?
 
As I can't seem to find any good immersive and historical overhauls for hoi4(please tell me if you know of one) I find myself going back to darkest hour again and again. Would this be a good stepping stone from Darkest hour full? I am also looking into world in flames but I dunno what it does really - I am looking to play Italy.

See my reply to you in the EoD thread. This mod uses the Project Italy mod so plenty of events for Italy. I haven't played the latest patch so don't know about its bugs. I know Drbob is working on some fixes and improvements.
 
Before deciding if I wanted to puppet Ethiopia or not, I loaded up as them to check out their units. They have a few Infantry 1945 divisions, really impressive. Along all the old late 1800 and early 1900 ones. I'll definitely puppet even though border gore.

LOL, the AI either received the wrong free units to make Ethiopia's AI stronger, or the unit icons are wrong which is sometimes the case.
 
Is there a faq for this mod? Or an overview what the different mods does? I mean my situation in 1933 as Italy is horrible, dissent through the roof, no supplies, no nothing. Does infrastructure matter more in this mod? Any starting tips? All my divisions are down to 1strength after being out of supply which I just noticed after idling a few years after the ethopian war.

I might have messed up my game by clicking on wages twice, so the event fires twice.

Something sounds messed up since the minimum wages decision only fires once a year. You should never see it as an option twice a year. As for your supply situation and weakened divisions? Not sure, just make sure your units are being supplied from Italy through convoys and adjust your message settings so you see a pop-up whenever your units are suffering from severe attrition. Or maybe you demobilized? And just about every nation suffers from high dissent in 1933.

I keep getting a persistent CTD in October 1935 playing as SOV. I had some CTD earlier in the game that I was able to get through by either slowing down the game speed or doing random things like picking various decisions. But I can't get past this one.

How challenging is it to take africa as italy in this mod? In dh it's very easy and they barely defend the area. Yes I could try myself but I don't want to spend several hours to just find out it's a cake walk.

It's challenging. British have a large force in North Africa complemented with Armour and MOT. It's been awhile since I've played as Britain, but there are a lot of events that reinforce their position in Africa.
