Newbie to the forum here. This seems like a pretty straightforward question, but I've just spent the last two hours searching this forum and others and installing different mods, all to no avail.
What I want to be able to do, is have all the transport types available in one single map in sandbox mode. So I want to be able to build trolleybus lines along with tram lines, along with monorail lines etc. Is there not any way to do this?
I've tried installing the Combined Transport Mod, but that has to be installed on top of of the Vehicles Redone Mod, which I don't really want. Besides, there's always the same problem which is that the game only seems to have 'room' for 5 transport options- in the build menu and the lines menu, so what happens is that extra transport options from mods all come under trams, which is weird in itself, but even then it didn't seem to work properly for me because I could only build tram track and tram stations- I didn't see extra monorail and trolleybus track build options appearing.
I also tried this mod- http://cimlv.wordpress.com/2011/07/16/modmonorail-and-tram-on-all-maps/ and a similar thing happened; the tram and monorail gets merged together as trams in the build menu, and when you click on it, there's now only the option to build monorail track, monorail passing places, and monorail stations. And under the lines menu, there's only the tram button there.
I'm about to give up. Anyone got any answers?
