If you are engaged in a war initiated by your alliance leader (you have honored your alliance and gone to war) and then make a separate peace with the enemy does your stability and or foreign relations take a hit? Is there and consistent rule to this action?

The alliance leader get a temporary casus belli against you (I think 6 months). Rarely is it acted upon though. But still...

I think Temp CB is always 12 months, but I wouldn't bet my life on it =)

and then make a separate peace

Concerning BB, if you make a separate peace you (probably) are always considerd the offensive part (ie no BB free provinces).
