I was playing 1.4.2 when something strange happened to me. Kleves declare war on me and afaik all allies joined. But when I made peace with Cologne and Kleves as leader of the alliance, munster which is one of my allies, still is in war with them.

This is rather strange and annoying as I made them my vassals and don't want Munster to Annex them.

It happens always when I replay it. Perhaps I can go further back to see if munster really honnoured my alliance (I am pretty sure they did).

BTW I am not sure if this is an EEP problem.

probably they annexed, or otherwise made peace, with one of your enemies...

Post your game history there as well, so they can see what happened.

Is their a log in a file I can use?

Well very short:

Was playing County of Holland 1443:

Leader of Alliance with Gerle, Friesland Oldenburg and Munster.

Kleves declared war on me, Cologne and Hessen joined.

Indeed like Forzaa said, Munster military annexed Hessen. (Is this the problem then and is this bug or feature?)

I captured Kleves and Cologne.

The rest you know or you can also see in the thread in the main forum.

(BTW can these threads be merged?)

Here's your problem :)
not a bug (or, noone considers it a bug) reasoning would be that if someone in your alliance makes peace alone with someone, the rest of the alliance doesn't want to fight for that country anymore, and thus a seperate war..

Aha, thanks very much. Still I do not totally agree with these procedings. I mean a seperate war after making a seperate peace makes sence, but I would say make exception for military annexation. I would not think that allies expect an allie to abstain from annexing if it has a change. I mean it is not like the country with whom a seperate peace is made can still attack them. (because they are annexed)

BTW I'll ask if this thread can be merged into the one in the regular eu2 forum.
