Technical Problem

I have a technical problem that I need your help with please.

Game Version & Patch (incl. publisher): HOI 2 Doomsday Armageddon 1.2 NRFV

OS & build/SP: Windows Home Vista Premium

Computer, CPU & speed: HP Pavilion dv6700, Intel Pentium Dual CPU T2330 1.60 GHz
32 Bit OS

RAM: 3 GB

Free HDD space: 1.8 GB free

Video (brand, model, driver, memory): Uh...Mobil Intel 965 Express Chipset Family, 358 MB

Sound (brand, model, driver):

DirectX Version: 10

Other: I'm not good with technology.

I read the stickies but I still have the following problem:

I get CTD's when I try to carry out amphibious landings on hostile provinces, occupied or not. I click the transport group, click the land troops button, Either right click the province (CTD), or left click one of my division groupings on board the transports (CTD).

Have you installed a MOD or editted any files ? The checksum for Armageddon 1.2 should be VBLV

No mods. The only thing I've editted is the thing for releasing puppets. I edited it so that I could release the CSA after annexing USA.

Well mine doesn't show that. Maybe it's because I got it from Gamersgate?

So am I supposed to download something? Any ideas on what to do?

The checksum for Arma 1.2 is VBLV for all releases from all vendors except for the MAC version.

If you have anything else the first recommendation is a reinstall... get to 1.2 Arma with VBLV. Then we can troubleshoot the problem from here.

And by the way.. any editing of any of the text files could cause a checksum change... which is most likely why your checksum is different.

Also i recommend an install outside of the c:\program files directory.. like c:\games\hoi2arma

Reinstalled. Back to VBLV. I guess I'll repost if the problem persists.
