An already hired holy order can be hired by their patron if the piety cost is paid, but it's not info given directly in the game

Description​

The patron of that holy order (teutonic order) is me.
(I know that I'm not at war so I can't hire them now, but when I was at war, the price in faith was already present.)

Why must I pay to hire it? Edit: I get the explanation after reading the answer below : they are already hired, so I need to repay the lord hiring them with piety to get them back.

The issue is that it's not even said in the game (it's well explained in the wiki)

Besides, the french the text is cut: see screenshot

I checked in english to see if the source of the piety cost is explained there, but nothing is said for the cost in piety even in english : see screenshot

Steps to reproduce​

before trying to hire the order, try to understand why the patron must pay piety; then hire them at the piety cost, but without any tooltip giving you the info as to WHY the piety cost is there.
