Hi all,

Hadn't thought of a name for the AAR yet, but I will be starting in Ireland in 1066. A few changes - I am using a few mods, namely these two for more roleplaying:
  • Another Traits Mod II
  • Sketchy Traits
As for most accuracy, I am using the historical fantasy tabletop/novel setting I've been working on, Ashes, as the basis for the world. As such, while there is not complete accuracy at all and more modern ideas (like LGBT rights, etc), these will be reflected in gameplay, even if individual characters are not specifically sharing those ideals (mostly because when I run a game in setting, I want other players to feel comfortable with the game table and stuff at the table).

THE TABLE OF CONTENTS
1. WIP Session 1

Apologies for being so busy and not having started yet - the sheer amount of work I've had lately has been ridiculous.

As far as the title, I'm going with "A Lion's Tale" for the coat of arms that Amlaíb, the main character, has.

In other news, this is Amlaíb and his husband Murchaid, one of his loyal knights.

Yes, he is openly gay as well (seeing as at least in the setting it's accepted, even if not irl).
That's even cooler

It's accepted on the setting
So you are playing with a unique setting too

Always interested in a good Irish story. :)

Unfortunately, my main laptop has decided to stop charging for some reason, and I can't really run it on my old netbook from high school because windows is just so big. I have started writing everything out, though I need to figure out an alternative in the meantime. I guess we should consider this thread the discussion thread for the game, though I'm not sure how to rename a thread on the forum. I do apologize for all of this.

Session One has gone up! Not sure about how to organize it on the forums, but here's the link. Got up to October 3, 1066, so mostly September for this session, plus mostly working some on the characters.

I apologize for being so busy, but classes and everything going on has basically taken up all my time. I'll probably be restarting this or starting a different aar after the semester ends later this month. I'm still learning and trying to figure out the best way to organize my AARs.
