Hi,

I downloaded the EEP and am now playing a campaign as Poland. First things first; well done people! This is a great mod.

However, one little oddity struck me as amusing, which I'm sure has been mentioned before. The tiny little Austria has vassalised Styria, Salzburg and Tyrol. However, its now 1439, and Styria, in an event, vassalised Austria! So each is now vassalised to the other... This has probably been mentioned before, but is it really a good idea for Austria and Styria to have such a diplomatically unprecedented relationship?

yes, historically.

now i don't remember very well, i read it on a book , the habsburg, by a scottish teacher, and during 15 century austria wasn't very strong had they have truble with their neighbours.

however this weakness allow then to take the crown of Holy Roman Emperor;)

Well...I don't think that the game wants them to vassalate each other, but that's just the way it turns out. In the 15th century, Austria consisted of several counties/duchies/whatever split amongst the Habsburg family. As rulers died and left their holding to their surviving brothers, the Habsburg lands were eventually unified.

I believe that Austria inherits Styria some time in the 1460's, and Tyrol in the early 1490's, so as long as one or the other hasn't been annexed by a foreign power, or chooses action_b, Habsburg Austria should be unified by the close of the 15th century.
